Watch Focus: Christ is Risen! Passover Lamb and Easter Triumph

Our Redeemer Lives!

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. (1 Cor. 15:20 NKJV)

Message: Mahesh Chavda

You are here tonight by divine appointment. Tap in tonight to the provision of what Christ did for you.

1 Peter 1:18-19. This is an awesome and unique day of this year. This day nails the blessings for you. This day Jesus Christ, Lamb of God, redeemed you; made atonement for you; delivered you; strengthened you; healed you and transformed you. This was for you and your family, body, soul and finances. Through the power, we can release blessing. This is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the day, Good Friday, the curse was broken; the devil was silenced and a dumb and deaf spirit was over the devil. Because of this day we can claim Isa. 54:17 – “No weapon formed against you shall prosper…”.

This is the day we celebrate. Something has happened. Jesus went through the most awesome suffering. Demons were released against Jesus in a great magnitude. I am glad of this day. Everything was done by Jesus. He declared, “It is Finished!” We can walk in the authority of what He has done because of the power He released. He went through pain and suffering. Ps. 22. Sin was conquered, death defeated, family redeemed and Satan bound. His body fluids were spilled for you and me.

We are unique people because of what God did by redeeming us. We are something because our God has delivered us! We are sons and daughters. We send blessing. We want to give you a token of this day that you can take home. I want to magnify the Lord and make this personal for you. I want to give each one of you a nail with red on the tip. It’s a type. You are walking in the full blessing. The curse is broken. You are under the protection of the blood, like Rahab and the scarlet thread. Get into the connection. This nail is for you and me 2000 years ago. This is a type. Put it where you will see it and meditate on what God has done through Christ when He conquered the power of death.

Mahesh told the following story: Louis Pasteur's coworker in the demonstration of what used to be called the germ theory was Dr. Felix Ruh, a Jewish doctor in Paris. The physician's granddaughter had died of black diphtheria, and he vowed to find out what had killed her. Twenty beautiful horses were led out into the forest to the impoverished laboratory. Scientists, doctors, and nurses came to watch the experiment. Ruh opened a steel vault and took out a large pail filled with black diphtheria germ. There were enough germs in that pail to kill everyone in France. The scientist went to each horse and swabbed its nostrils, tongue, throat, and eyes with the deadly germs. Every horse except one developed a terrific fever and died. Most of the doctors and scientists wearied of the experiment and did not remain for what they thought would be the death of the remaining horse. For several more days this final horse lingered, lying pathetically on the ground. While Ruh, Pasteur, and several others were sleeping on cots in the stables, the orderly on duty had been instructed to awaken the scientists should there be any change in the animal's temperature during the night. About 2:00 AM, the temperature showed a half degree decrease, and the orderly awakened Dr. Ruh. By morning the thermometer had dropped two more degrees. By night the fever was entirely gone, and the horse was able to stand, eat, and drink. The scientist drew all the blood from the veins of this animal that had developed the black diphtheria but had overcome it. The scientists drove as fast as they could to the municipal hospital in Paris. They forced their way past the superintendent and the guards and went into the ward where 300 babies lay, segregated to die from black diphtheria. With the blood of the horse, they forcible inoculated every one of the babies. All but three lived and recovered completely. They were saved by the blood of an overcomer.

The nail represents for you and me the Blood of the Overcomer. Jesus is the Chief Jewish Doctor, Jehovah Rapha, The Lord that Health Thee. Without apology, we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb.

Jews across the world honor Passover. We put emphasis on our connection. We owe so much to the Jewish people and Israel. I will bless all nations through Israel. John 4:22. Gen.12.

At Passover the Jewish people have a Seder in every home. Connect with Exodus12 in the great story of redemption. We have to recognize the eternal story. You fit in as a child in the redemption story. There may be challenges and suffering, but the blessing comes. Joseph was a blessing. Overnight deliverance can come, suddenly. We rebuke disease and infirmity in your family. Overnight.

God told Moses to take the lamb and kill it. Ex.12. He told him to take its blood and put in on the doorpost and lintels. The final plague is the angel of death. Anyone who believed the word would be saved. God is no respecter of persons. They are delivered out of Egypt with treasures. Since that time, it was an instruction from the Lord to teach the history to the children. Generations were taught the Passover. This was one of the reasons He chose Abraham in that the Lord foresaw that he would teach his children. You also have a story in God. We are a product of miracles, signs and wonders.

We have here a Seder plate with a lamb bone representing the Blood of the Lamb; green vegetables representing a hyssop branch to dip in the blood for the doorposts; bitter herbs representing the hardship of slavery; a mixture of apple, nut, cinnamon and wine representing clay for the bricks and mortar under Pharaoh; salt water representing blood and tears of the Passover Lamb; and a roasted egg representing the temple sacrifice. Each Seder plate also had a matzo, three pieces of unleavened bread. You unfold the napkin and take the middle matzo and break it. The bigger piece was hidden and the children would find it. Three in one. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Middle One was broken on Good Friday and hidden and on the third day He appeared alive.

Jesus entered the city on Palm Sunday at the same time that the high priest would choose a lamb. Like this lamb that is paraded through the city, Jesus comes into the city exposed to everybody. Behold, the Lamb of God. 1 Cor. 5:7. And the moment that Jesus cried “It is finished” is the same moment that the high priest sacrificed the lamb. Mahesh blew the shofar. The Passover Lamb was sacrificed, blood was shed and the people would know their sins were atoned. In the same way, the awesome sacrifice for life eternal was made by Jesus, the Passover Lamb. Blood was shed eternally for you and me, the Church of Jesus Christ.

I have a burden for pastors not to lose the story of the Passover’s testimony. A school in Bellingham wanted to replace the lyrics to God Bless America with We Love the USA. The objection was God. Lee Greenwood who wrote the song said the main word in the song was God. There are dark forces that want us to lose our story. The Seder is a picture of the story of how overnight God gave deliverance through a Lamb. Jer. 31. There is a New Covenant between Israel and Judah. One heart, one spirit. Ez. 11; Matt.26; Luke 22.

Mahesh blew the shofar again. Blessings! Don’t ever be terrified of death. Isa.53 was done for eternal redemption. You can stand on this. He punished death and all the devils of hell. Put your hand on your heart and say, “I am forgiven”. The devil will accuse you but you can say you are forgiven. Matt.8. You can pray on the basis and cast out demons on Isa. 53.

2 Cor.8:9; 1 Cor.5:21; Heb.2:9. Jesus tasted death that I may have life. He became poor so I will have abundance. Gal. 3:13-14. He was cursed so I am blessed. Heb. 12:2. As a final insult, Jesus hung on the Cross naked. He was shamed by nakedness so that we can be clothed with glory. Matt. 27; Eph. 1:5-6. He was rejected so that we belong; we are adopted. Loneliness has no place in me!!!

The Passover Sabbath is known as the Great Sabbath. May God open the windows of heaven. Mal. 3. Don’t lose your story - step into it for you and your children!
