Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for Florida

FRIDAY, February 16, 2018—Please pray for the grieving families who lost loved ones at Stoneman Douglas High School in Broward County, Florida. On Wednesday, February troubled former student opened fire at the school, murdering 17 innocent adults and children.
Pray for all those who lost precious loved ones, and ask for the healing of those wounded in the shooting—several grievously. As a nation we grieve for the innocents slain in this shooting. Let us hedge our children with renewed prayer. Declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ whose glory and power annihilates every principality and power. Let us plead the blood of the Lamb over our families, schools, cities, and nation.  

Part 2: Bind the Flu Epidemic

All forty-eight states of the continental United States are experiencing one of the worst flu epidemics in recent years. The virus has caused many deaths and attacks every age group from children through the elderly with severe symptoms. According to Exodus 12, as the blood of the Passover Lamb shielded the Israelites from destruction in Egypt, let the blood of Jesus Christ shield us from all forms of flu and infection. Aggressively apply the Blood of the Lamb over all our households, that no plague can touch any member of our family. Release the healing power of Christ for all those that have been affected by this flu virus across the United States. Pray covering on all the medical personnel that are assisting in caring for these patients. Bind the spread of this disease in Jesus’ name.

Part 3 – Pray for Israel

Again, unrest in the Middle East is threatening Israel with the recent downing of an Israeli Defense Airforce plane in Syria. Pray for God’s protection and covering for Israel. Pray for wisdom for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
 
 

Psalm 91:1-5, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.”

Numbers 16:47-48, “47 Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped.”

Exodus 12:3;22-23, “Every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.  And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.  For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.”

Psalms. 121:7-8, “The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”

Exodus 15:26, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Zechariah 2:5, “’For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”
