Weekly Watch Focus: The Year of Increase—Bless the Economic Restoration

FRIDAY, January 11, 2019—Thank the Lord for the great economic breakthroughs we have seen in the last year including record job-growth and historically low unemployment rates. Presently we are on a forty day corporate fast. As we fast and pray for 2019, we thank the Lord for His blessings and provision and we say, “More, Lord! May the Lord in His grace continue to strengthen America’s economy that we may be a blessing to the nations.” Let us declare, “No weapon formed against our economy can prosper.” Bind every device working to pull down the economic strength and prosperity of America. Especially bind back the spirits of Marxism and socialism which have led to poverty and chaos in nations like Venezuela, a nation of great natural resources and wealth. Let us pray Deuteronomy 16:15 over our nation, our church, and our families, “The Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, in all the works of thy hands and therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.” May every family come into debt-free blessing. May our economy continue to expand. May job growth and prosperity increase more and more. May the Lord give increased wisdom for President Trump and his economic team as they guide our nation’s economic policy. Pray the Lord also continue to give wisdom to the President and his cabinet regarding the border situation.

Ezra 8:21-23, “Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.” So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.”

Psalm 67:5-6, “Let the people praise Thee O Lord God, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase and God, even our God shall bless thee.”
Psalm 85:12, “Yes, the Lord shall give that which is good and our land shall yield her increase.”

Joel 2:18, 23-25, “Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, and pity His people. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you—the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
 
Deuteronomy 8:7-10, “For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you.”
