Watch Focus: The People of Syria
FRIDAY, Oct 9, 2015 Let us pray for the people in Syria who are caught up in a terrible, ongoing conflict that has lasted for several years. Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist forces have taken possession of vast areas of this nation which is so often mentioned in the Bible. Christian communities that have been in existence since the days of the Apostle Paul have been decimated, and thousands of Christians have been butchered mercilessly by ISIS. The Assad regime that ruled Syria for decades gave protection to the Christians is now riven with violence and revolution.
Pray for all the innocent civilians caught up in this cycle of violence. Millions have had to flee their homes and ISIS terror. Pray for the aid workers in the refugee camps. Let us once again bind the demonic forces that inspire the Islamic State. Pray for God's heavenly host to utterly destroy these armies that have crucified, beheaded, and drowned thousands of innocents. May God dry up their resources. Pray that peace will once again be restored to Syria and Iraq.
Part II: Floods in the Carolinas
Please pray for those in South Carolina affected by the recent floods. Pray for a quick recovery from the biggest rains in two hundred years.
Part III: Prophetic Fire Conference
Pray for a mighty move of God in our upcoming Prophetic Fire Conference. Pray for anointing and protection for all the speakers and the many volunteers. Lord, send Your wonderful, revival fires!
Matt. 25:37-40, "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’"
Ps. 9:9, "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble."
2 Sam. 22:3, "The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence."
Eph. 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
