Weekly Watch Focus: Iran’s Nuclear Threat: Pray for Israel and the Middle East

FRIDAY, Nov. 1, It is reported that Iran will be ready with a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks, further destabilizing nations in that region like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, The United Arab Emirates, and directly threatening the existence of Israel. These next few weeks are crucial. Pray for the protection of Israel, and the neutralization of any nuclear threats from Iran. Pray for the promise in Psalm 121, “That He that keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.” Also bind the power of extremist Islamic organizations that are gaining strength  in the nations surrounding Israel. Pray that leaders in America and the West will cease assisting the enemies of Israel in this crucial, prophetic hour according to Holy Scriptures. We pray for “shalom” for Israel and its neighbors.

Zech 12:3-4, 8-11 “And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. In that day,” says the Lord, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. ‘And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.”

Psalm 121:4-7, “Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

Ps 33:10-11, “The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.”

Romans 11:28-29, “Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
