Watch Focus: Honor Our Veterans

Nov. 6, 2015 There is a present crisis in our nation regarding the neglect of our veterans, many of whom have experienced inadequate care from the agencies appointed to see to their well-being. Some have sustained grievous injuries and endured much to secure our freedoms. Veterans have died because of delays in getting medical assistance. Let us repent for the treatment of our veterans.

We honor our veterans who have valiantly served our nation, and thank our men and women whose brave service has maintained our freedoms. We also honor the families of our service men and women. May the angelic hosts of heaven continue to protect all those wearing the uniform of our armed forces.

Ps. 91:4,11-13, “Ps. 91: 4, 11, “He will cover you with His pinions,  and under His wings you will find refuge;  His faithfulness is a shield and buckler…For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.  You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.”

1 Tim. 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Ps. 27:1-5, Eph. 6:12
