Weekly Watch Focus: Migrant Crisis in Europe

Friday, November 13, Pray for many of the European nations that have been flooded with hundreds of thousands of migrants from the Middle East. It has been difficult for authorities to tell the difference between genuine refugees and violent Islamic jihadists. Most of these migrants have no passports or other identification.
Pray the European authorities have wisdom to protect their nations from an influx of contagious diseases or of Isis or Al-Qaeda terrorists, and yet show compassion to real refugees. Pray also that the U.S. authorities have discernment and wisdom to protect this nation from terrorists who mingle with thousands of migrants seeking refuge in this nation.

Isa. 60:18, "Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise."

1 Tim. 2:1, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men."

James 1:27, " Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

Deut. 27:17, " Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark. And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'"

Exodus 22:2; Ps. 67:1-7; Hosea 2:18; Neh. 13:15-21; Isa.1:7; Rom. 13:3-4; Matt. 25:45b; Exodus 22:21; 2 Chron. 7:13-14
