Weekly Watch Focus: Put up a Shield of Prayer and Fasting

Friday, November 2, 2018—Put up a prayer shield against spirits of chaos and panic assaulting the National mindset in the wake of the Tree of Life Synagogue shootings, and the convergence of intensified political sentiments, market volatility, the immigrant caravan, and the Mid-Term elections.

We speak to this demonic storm: “Peace be still! The Lord is in our boat, and we are going to the other side. We declare a great deliverance for America." We prophesy Psalm 122:6 blessings and prosperity on the United States in accordance to God’s promises, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper that love thee,” and Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you.” There is blessing for America as we have stood for Israel and moved our embassy to the capital city of Jerusalem on May 14th of this year. We echo the prayer of the Apostles, “Now, Lord, behold their threats and stretch forth Your hand to heal and do signs and wonders in the name of Jesus.”

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The battle is raging in the spiritual realm for the soul of our nation. We believe our nation is on the cusp of a mighty wave of revival and restoration, but the opposition is fierce. Stand in the gap with us. Bind back the powers of witchcraft, communism, and chaos. Pray Shalom over our land. Sing songs that exalt the blood of Jesus that totally deactivate the power of witchcraft. We are calling all Watchmen to a one-day fast on Monday, November 5th to turn the tide in our nation and heal our land.

Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? …Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, “Here I am.” Isaiah 58:6,8

Part 2: Pray for Tree of Life Synagogue and Pittsburgh Community

Watchmen, pray for the Tree of Life Synagogue community and Pittsburgh law enforcement following the heinous murder of eleven people and serious injury of six others attending a baby-naming ceremony on Saturday.

Pray for the families of those who lost their loved ones. Pray for the recovery of the wounded. Bind the demonic forces behind anti-Semitism. Pray for a shield of protection around Jewish communities across our nation. Pray for healing for our nation.

I Timothy 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Luke 8:24, "Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm."

Acts 4:29-30, "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Matthew 18:18-20, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Psalm 75:7, “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”

2 Chronicles 20:15, “Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

Isaiah 54:17, “’No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.”

Psalm 37:39-40, “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.”

Psalm 5:8-12, “Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue. Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield

Psalm 91:5-6, “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” 

Psalm 125:2, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.”
