Weekly Watch Focus: The Lord is our Shepherd
FRIDAY, August 2, 2019—Take time this week to meditate on Psalm 23. Personalize it for you and your family. Enter into this glory word the Lord is emphasizing for us in this hour. The Lord is your Shepherd. He is present now to heal, deliver, lead, cover, protect, provide, restore, and anoint. Apprehend the covenant blessings promised in this Psalm. Declare it over yourself, your family, your children, your finances, your city, and your nation.

Psalm 23, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”
Hebrews 13:20-21, “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
1 Peter 5:4, “And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.”
