Weekly Watch Focus: Pray for Mexico

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2019— This week three American mothers and their six children were brutally massacred by drug cartel members in northern Mexico. Several of the victims were children, including twin babies. Six more children were wounded in the violent attack on their cars. According to latest figures, Mexico is considered the second-most dangerous nation in the world, ahead of Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. The murder rate in Mexico is astronomical due to the drug and cartel fueled drug wars. All along our border with Mexico, the Mexican police forces have been intimidated into quitting by the murderous attacks and beheadings by the drug cartels. Tens of thousands of civilians are killed annually, including several visiting Americans. Pray for our neighbor. Pray for an end to the corruption that adds great difficulty to the effort to defeat the drug lords. Pray for the safety of all the law-abiding people of Mexico. Bind the spirit of addiction and violence that runs through that nation and affects the United States, its neighbor. Pray for a great move of God in this nation. Pray for the rise of the believing churches in Mexico.

Pray for the LeBaron family who are mourning the loss of their wives and children in this senseless killing. Pray for the Lord to comfort them and heal those that were wounded both physically and psychologically. Pray for President Trump and his administration to have divine wisdom and counsel from heaven to fight the violence on our southern border.
