Watch Focus - Children: Part 1 - Restoration of Identity
There is a declaration of war in our culture against the identity of our children. Our foundational values and the preservation of identity for individuals and families through Christ as the building block of society is under attack. The Bible recognizes gender as male and female (Genesis 1:27). We bind back gender confusion and build a hedge of prayer through the blood of Jesus over our children. We declare victory over this agenda in our schools, in our courts, and in Congress. May biblical identity and traditional marriage be restored as the stable model for our society. Millions of our young people are growing up in fatherless homes and becoming infected by the orphan spirit, looking for identity. We lift up these young men and women, and pray that the Holy Spirit would bring them to Christ, deliver them from the orphan spirit, and fill them with the Spirit that will help them cry, “Abba, Father.” May our children come to know that God loves them and has a good purpose for their lives.
Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
Galatians 4:6-7, “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
Acts 2:17-18, “I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
Jeremiah 31:17, “There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.”
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Isaiah 49:25, “But thus says the LORD: ‘Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children.’”
Psalm 34:7, “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.”
