Watch Focus: Pray for Sudan and Yemen

Violence and fighting between two militia groups in Sudan has led to the deaths of over 400 people in the last seven days. In Yemen, at least 78 people were killed after a stampede occurred while residents gathered at a school to receive cash donations distributed by merchants during Ramadan. Pray for safety for the civilians and for peace to reign and be restored. Welcome justice and freedom. Pray for comfort for the families of those injured and killed. May the Spirit of revival touch these nations. Keep binding the demonic spirits behind radical Islamic terrorism that is threatening peace and safety in nations around the globe. Remember to pray for the safety of Israel and shalom to Jerusalem. May the Lord, whose name is Jehovah Shalom, quickly restore peace in these nations.

Psalm 106:46,47, “He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them away captive.  Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise.”

Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

2 Samuel 22:3-4, “The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

Psalm 121:6-8, “Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.”

Psalm 138:7, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.”

Psalm 32:7, “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Psalm 20, “May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;  May He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.  We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.  They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.  Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.’”
