Watch Focus Friday, November 1, 2024: Storm Warning
In Jesus’ name we prevail in prayer against every demonic and earthly prince and power that seeks to steal, subvert, or overrule the results of this election. We place a hedge of protection around all candidates and send angels forth into the nation to direct and protect the purposes of God to redeem and restore our nation in this essential hour. We also pray for the peace and protection of Israel as they continue to battle forces who seek to destroy them.
Psalm 46:5, God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
In her remarks following first assassination attempt on her husband’s life, Melania Trump said, “the fabric of our gentle nation is tattered, but our courage and common sense must ascend and bring us back together as one. . . beyond the left and the right, beyond the red and the blue, we all come from families with the passion to fight for a better life together, while we are here, in this earthly realm. Dawn is here again. . . . The winds of change have arrived.”
Psalm 46, “For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to alamoth. A song.” The sons of Korah! Those in the family of the famous rebel who challenged God’s authority in Moses and were swallowed by the earth…but to all of them went along with the rebel. They became a lasting testimony serving at the very altar of the Lord as the choir singing His praise. This song also emphasizes God’s city as His eternal Helpmate to whom God comes to help just in the nick of time. Alamoth, used only twice in the Bible, denotes a verb meaning hidden but poised to burst forth. The reference suggests it is a song sung by the undefiled. The scripture continues, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. The Message version reads, “We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake, Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains. Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us. River fountains splash joy, cooling God’s city, this sacred haunt of the Most High. God lives here, the streets are safe, God at your service from crack of dawn. Godless nations rant and rave, kings and kingdoms threaten, but Earth does anything he says.”
Between 349k and 218k noncitizens have been voting in AZ for 2 decades and the Secretary of State says it’s impossible at this point to deal with this issue before this election. The DOJ is suing VA to put thousands of noncitizens recently removed from voter rolls by Governor Youngkin back on voter rolls for this election. There have been ballot drop box tampering and destruction in 3 states discovered so far, effecting thousands of ballots already cast. A federal judge in Pennsylvania dismissed a lawsuit by Congressional Republicans regarding ID’s required for overseas voting. A similar rule is in place in North Carolina and Michigan. The judge’s ruling says the Congressmen do not have standing and ID requirement is too stringent. Twenty-six states are petitioning Supreme Court to keep noncitizens from voting —the suit is pending. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in the Mississippi case where election officials were allowing mail in ballots to be counted and registered up to 5 days after the election was over—in other words election officials intended to count votes being cast and received after the election was closed in specific violation of the election law clause in the constitution. Currently 20 states accept mail in ballots received after Election Day (these rules were put in effect during COVID).
In Jesus’ name we prevail in prayer against every demonic and earthly prince and power that seeks to steal, subvert, or overrule the results of this election. We bind the spirits and emissaries of spirits at work that would lead our nation into bondage and idolatry. We bind the spirits of corruption and collusion with demonic ideologies. In Revelation 14:3-5 “And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.”
We pray for light to overcome darkness to expose and banish every evil work. For a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit to blow across this nation, separating wheat from chaff. We pray courage and common sense ascend and bring a good harvest for every family. We declare the Earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Ps. 24:1); We pray for truth to prevail over lies, deceit, and fraud, in this election. For a return to righteousness. For victory for all those who know and all those who serve the Lord. And for ONLY LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS’ VOTES TO BE COUNTED in this election.
Matthew 28:1-3, “At dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.”
Matthew 4:16, “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”
Mark 6:47-51, “Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed…”
2 Peter 1:19, “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”
Mark 13:35, “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.”
Psalm 107, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy…Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place…. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. For He commands and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up the waves of the sea. They mount up to the heavens, They go down again to the depths; Their soul melts because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end. Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven.”
The old adage for shepherds and sailors says the sky can predict the weather. “Red sky in the morning sailors (shepherds) take warning. Red sky at night, sailors (shepherds) delight.” Red at night means good weather ahead; red at dawn means a storm is brewing. Its’ actually science in weather systems as you travel from west to east. When the sun rests near the horizon light passes through more air than when it’s higher in the sky. A red sky results from high atmospheric pressure, where particles are more highly concentrated and blue light is scattered. A red sunset means an area of high pressure (associated with clear skies) is approaching from the west. A red sunrise suggests a high pressure area has passed overhead and is moving away. Lower pressure air will soon take its place, bringing rain or storms. We watch and pray Malachi 4 across America over this election: “But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” says the Lord of hosts.”
