Watch Focus 11/22/24, He makes wars cease: Russia and Ukraine; Israel

Part 1

Psalm 46:9-11, “He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.”

We wield this scripture like a mighty sword in this hour over Russia, over the Ukraine, over Europe, and over America! President Biden has authorized the use of US long range missiles to be used against Russia dangerously escalating this conflict. We question the wisdom of this decision. Media reports have confirmed their actual use against Russia this week. Russia is reviewing their Nuclear Doctrine and on Russian state television, and Putin confirmed that Moscow had used a "new" intermediate-range ballistic missile in response.

We step into this crisis as the Church of Jesus Christ amongst the Nations and declare the Lord’s Prayer, Your Kingdom Come and Your will be done as it is in Heaven!  We are called to make disciples of all the Nations, may it be so for Russia, Ukraine, the nations in Europe, and the United States. May they receive the Gospel of the Kingdom.

We lift up President Biden, President-Elect Trump, who will be inheriting this crisis, President Putin, President Zelenskyy and their administrations that there would be restraint from foolish decisions and rhetoric. May the Fear of the Lord be on them. May Proverbs 9:10 be true for these leaders “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”  We pray an easing of tensions and call on the Prince of Peace to visit these Nations with revival, blessing, peace and prosperity. We especially pray for President-Elect Trump and his Administration to have the wisdom and strategy to negotiate an end to this conflict. We pray President Trump has wisdom regarding all appointees to his Administration who will be dealing with this conflict and all other areas of Government.

We take heart from the prayers of Rees Howells and his team to shape the outcome and ending of World War 2, “Let us be clear in our prayer that the intercession is gained. The battle is the Holy Spirit’s. . . .  He is there on the battlefield with His drawn sword.”

Part 2

The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and a Hamas commander, Mohammed Deif, who Israel says was killed in July. From the Watch of the Lord we stand unswervingly with Israel and thank God for President Biden’s statement, “The ICC issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas.  We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.” May America and incoming President-Elect Trump continue to stand with Israel without compromise in this hour as the spirit of anti-Christ rises in the earth. We honor the Jewish root that we have been grafted into, bless Israel afresh and pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Psalm 149:6-9, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment—This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord!”

Psalm 2:8, “Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.”

Daniel 2:21-22, “And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.”

Proverbs 21:1, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”

Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Romans 11:17-18, “And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.”

Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”
