Part 1: Spirit of Truth
 
We take encouragement from Jesus words in John 8:32, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
 
We embrace John 16:13, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
 
The great battle has always been between truth and lies beginning in the garden when the serpent said to Eve in Genesis 3:1, “……………Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
 
We pray for the Church in America and the Nations to be delivered from all deception and untruth.
 
We pray fervently that the Spirit of Truth would breathe afresh on His Church and guide His Bride into all truth once again. May all lies, false doctrines and deceptions be broken!
 
We give heed to Paul’s warning in 1 Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,..”. May all deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons be exposed!
 
May the Church in America and the Nations arise in this hour in truth and the freedom that comes from it! We remember Paul’s encouragement from 1 Timothy 3:15, “but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. Church arise as the pillar and ground of truth holding up their respective nations!
 
We pray the Church leads the way in being in truth not just in doctrine but the issues of our local, national and international times and knows what to do. We take inspiration from the sons of Issachar from 1 Chronicles 12:32, “…of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do,…”
 
We pray the Spirit of Truth would fall on the peoples in America and the Nations that they would begin to call on the Lord and as in Genesis 4:26, “….Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.”
 
Part 2: Persecuted Church
 
We remember the persecuted Church in the Nations especially Syria where this last week reports are coming in that Christians, Alawites and other religious minorities were slaughtered. There are severe tensions as Syria transitions to new leadership. We pray God’s Kingdom come and will be done in this ancient biblical land as it is in heaven and that the Believers there would be delivered from all evil according to the Lord’s Prayer. May the Lord comfort them and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with them. May the Lord crush Satan under their feet.
 
Ephesians 5:8-10, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.”
 
John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
 
Revelation 12:9, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
 
John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”
 
2 Corinthians 1:3-5, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any [a]trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.”
 
Romans 16:20, “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.” The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
 
Psalm 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.”
