Weekly Watch Focus: Back to School
FRIDAY, August 16, 2019— Pray for safety and protection for our children as they start the new school year. Put a hedge of protection around the schools, colleges, or specific institutions your children and the children in your church attend. When possible, lay hands on your children and bless them. Pray for wisdom, favor, and good success. Ask for God’s angelic protection to surround your children and their schools and bind back any satanic plans of violence and terror. Pray not only for physical protection, but put a spiritual covering over your children, asking the Lord to guard them from values that undermine our Judeo-Christian foundations and anti-Christ agendas promoted by modern culture. Declare biblical values will undergird their teachers and administrators. Pray for our educational system, from kindergarten to university, to experience transformation and revival. Pray specifically by name your children’s teachers, principals and administrators. Pray also for all those being home-schooled, that the Lord would give wisdom and strength to families as they teach their children at home. Pray for Christian campus ministries that strengthen our children in high school and college.
