Weekly Watch Focus: 21 Day Corporate Fast — 2020 Elections

Friday, August 23, 2019—“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” I Timothy 2:1-4

As we begin this 21-Day corporate fast, we are laying the groundwork in prayer for the national elections in 2020. The choice for the next President of the United States and members of the Senate and House of Representatives are important in setting the direction our nation will go in the coming years. Pray that God will give us leaders who will boldly stand for our Judeo-Christian values, uphold and confirm righteous judges to our courts, and defend the heritage of our nation’s founders in our laws and policies. Pray for leaders who will stand firm with the nation of Israel and bless Jerusalem.

Pray for ongoing physical protection for President Trump, his family, and his cabinet. Pray also for the protection of Vice President Pence and his family. Bind back every physical attack on our current administration, and pray for divine protection for every candidate running for office in the 2020 elections.

Cover the cities of Milwaukee, WI and Charlotte, NC, hosts of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions respectively. Bind the activities of extremist political agitators who would stir up violence at these conventions. Pray confusion into their plans and wisdom and divine strategy for the host cities as they prepare for these national conventions. Pray for the peace of Jehovah Shalom to reign supreme.

Join us as we cover this coming year in prayer and fasting August 18-September 7, 2019. Click here for details and to share your prayer requests.
