Watch Focus: Prayer Shield Over our Youth

June 5, 2015, Put a special prayer shield over our youth. Many are graduating from high school or college and are in the process of finalizing crucial decisions for their lives. We pray the Lord’s divine guidance over their lives, His wisdom and favor going with them, His holy angels protecting them always.

Jer. 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Pov. 19:21, “There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.”

Rom. 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Isa. 40:29-31, “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Ps. 119:9, 1 Tim. 4:12, Ps. 71:5, Prov. 1:8-9

Part II: Sabbath Rest

We also put a prayer shield over many of our families as they take some time off to go on summer vacations. May the Lord refresh them as they gather for a time of reunion and healing. May the Lord cover them with safety and give Sabbath rest.

Exod. 20:8-10, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.”

Mark 6:31, 32, “And He said to them, ‘Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.’ For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.”

Ps. 4:8, “I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

Exod. 33:14
