Our watch focus this week is for a HEDGE OF PROTECTION for America, Israel, and the nations. Our prayer strategy comes from Psalm 91:
 
“A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you” (Psalm 91:7).

Wildfires in New Mexico
The South Fork Fire and Salt Fire have been raging through a mountain range near Rudioso, NM, scorching more than 23,000 acres and burning over 1,400 structures. Thousands of residents were forced to leave their homes. Many neighborhoods were completely destroyed, and  at least two people are confirmed dead and several unaccounted for. Flash flooding now threatens the area already damaged by the uncontrollable wildfires making the search for those missing increasingly difficult.

As the Lord’s watchmen and ambassadors on the earth, we declare Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” We thank the Lord that He is in the midst of the fire and the flood. We pray for angelic help and rescue, and build a hedge of protection in prayer over the rest of the state and region. May the Lord Jehovah preserve and protect every resident from harm. Send your delivering power to deliver all from the evil one!

“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore” (Psalm 121:7-8).

We cover America from harm and destruction. We bind voices speaking drought, fires, and calamity upon America and those seated in high places pushing energy policy initiatives that would do more harm than good. We loose angelic help! May the Spirit of Truth be established and prevail in the midst of deception and idolatry. We declare afresh that the Lord is in control of our planet and our weather. The Lord is an ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). Let a hedge of protection arise in every state, every city, and every home. The Blood of Jesus is full of power! We plead the Blood over the church and over our economy and precious resources. “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’” (Revelation 6:6).

“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,
no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:9-11).
 
The Lord will defend and protect Israel. Iran, through Hezbollah in Lebanon, is flexing a strategic opportunity to force Israel into a second war in order to defend and stabilize their northern border. Hassan Nasrallah, head of the Lebanese militia, threatened Israel with all-out war Wednesday, and has also threatened Cyprus if they allow Israel to use their airports and bases. Hezbollah has been fighting with Israeli forces since October 7th. Over 100 civilians have been killed, and more than 150,000 have been displaced from their homes. The latest fighting has been among the fiercest yet, raising fears of another front in the war and an economic downturn as more military deployment reduces Israel’s workforce.

“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (Psalm 91:5-6).

We contend for a hedge of protection around Israel. Lord, be a wall of fire around the borders of Israel and Jerusalem, and be the glory in her midst (Zechariah 2:5). Arise, God of Angel Armies! As alliances of evil convene with the intent of war and destruction, choose Israel and Jerusalem. “Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!” (Zechariah 2:13). May the Lord do for Israel what He did for her descendants: “And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens” (Hebrews 11:32-34).

“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself” (Revelation 19:11-12).

In wake of this recent attempt of saber-rattling from Israel’s enemies, we loose the power of the gospel upon the earth. Silence the voices of darkness that would promulgate global war. We welcome the Rider on the white horse to take His place among the nations, as He sits in the heavens and laughs at His enemies. May every king and ruler be subject to HIS authority and voice on the earth. We declare, “Jesus is Lord over the nations!”

“Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath. He shall say, ‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, and all shall be ashamed who are incensed against Him. In the Lord all the descendants of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory.’” (Isaiah 45:22-25).

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’” (Psalm 91:1-2)
