Weekly Watch Focus: Back to the Bible

FRIDAY, February 10, 2012. Let us pray that our families, culture, and nation return to our biblical foundations. May our nation honor the wisdom of our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and Constitution, which were framed by our founding fathers on the basis of God’s eternal laws for governing mankind. His blueprint for good government, prosperity, peace, and liberty never changes. May we embrace the ancient wisdom contained in the Bible that guides all mankind individually and corporately as a society and nation, honoring His principles in everything we do.

Is. 40:8, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

2 Tim. 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Ps 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Deut. 28:1-3, “And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”

Jer. 6:16, “Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.”
